Xiaomi has launched a new smartphone Redmi 5A in India which is known as "Desh ka smartphone". As expected Xiaomi has launched a device with a respected specification and with an ultra-affordable price tag.
It has a 5 inch (1280 x 720) display. The highlight of the phone is its 3000 mAh battery backup. The phone comes in two variants 2GB RAM + 16 GB internal and 3GB RAM + 32GB internal.
It has a microSD card support up to 128 GB and has a hybrid sim slot. The phone also has a 13MP rear camera and 5 MP front-facing camera. It runs MIUI9 based on Android Nougat.
The Redmi 5A comes in three color Platinum silver, Champagne gold, and Rose gold.
The first 5 million phone will be shipped with a price tag of 4,999 Rs, after which the price will go up to 5, 999 for 2GB RAM +16 GB internal, and 6,999 for 3GB RAM + 32GB internal.
The phone will be shipped on December 7 exclusively through Flipkart, Xiaomi's official website, MI home stores and authorized retail partners across India.
